A junior official, having been handed the Championship key contacts book and told to ensure that heavy snow clearing equipment was on hand first thing this morning after wintry weather struck the region, was confused to find a rather breathless Martin Plowman asking for him at Race Control after dashing over for what he apparently though was a free drive!
