After an already succesful 2016 season in Europe and the USA, Dayvtec extends its programme for next season with multiple LMP3 entries in the 2017 IMSA Series.
The plans were made to drive a LMP3 in the 2016 Supercar Challenge season. Not long after Milan Dontje and guest driver/brother Indy Dontje won their first race on Circuit Zolder a second LMP3 arrived. The yellow/white Ligier of Frits van Eerd, Jan Lammers and Bernhard van Oranje. Jan and Bernhard participated the Road to Le Mans race during the 24h program on Le Mans. During the Supercar Challenge season the LMP3 showed his potential with multiple victories with Nigel Melker/Milan Dontje and Frits van Eerd/Jan Lammers.
Not only in Europe there is interest in the LMP3 programme. A third LMP3 of team Dayvtec was shipped to Miami for testing and participation in the FARA Series. Sam Tawfik and Danny van Dongen showed the USA what the LMP3 is capable of. With three consecutive wins the interest in the car gained and two other cars were shipped to Miami.
With a new office and workshop in Miami, Florida team Dayvtec is more then ready for the 2017 season. Beside the multiple LMP3 entries in the IMSA Series Dayvtec will also enter the FARA Series. The plans for Europe are in full progress and will be released later this year.
The team has several tests planned in Europe and the USA.
