Clearwater Racing has confirmed its driver lineup for the upcoming Asian Le Mans Series season. The Singaporean-flagged will have Matt Griffin and Keita Sawa joining team owner Mok Weng Sun in the Singaporean team’s new Ferrari 488 GT3.
It’s an important year for the team, who in the 2015/2016 season won the Asian Le Mans Series GT Chanpionship with a McLaren 650S GT3 before making its Le Mans debut back in June.
Sun’s teammates have plenty of experience racing with the team. Sawa was part of the championship win last year with Rob Bell as third driver, while Irish GT stalwart Griffin raced with the team in the AsLMS back in 2014, when the team competed with a 458 GT3. Griffin also contested the full season of GT Asia with the team last year.
The upcoming four-round 2016/17 Asian Le Mans Series season kicks off later this month with a trip to Zhuhai on October 28/30.
