The new for 2014 GT4 European Series, which was launched at Zandvoort two months ago with a list of circuits but no confirmed dates, seems to have a provisional calendar now. In the latest version of the International Series Calendar, as published by the FIA on December 17, six dates have been announced for the series that is set to replace the GT4 European Cup and the HDI-Gerling Dutch GT Championship next season.
In October the GT4 European Series organisation announced it had planned races on Magny-Cours, Silverstone, Zandvoort, Spa-Francorchamps, Nürburgring and Mugello. The latest provisional calendar indicates that Misano has replaced Mugello, while Magny-Cours has disappeared from the list and Navarra has been added as the season finale. Four out of six events will be taking place on Blancpain GT weekends. The GT4 European Series will share its opening round at Misano with the Italian GT championship.

The Zandvoort round was initially set to be held in October, with the Aston Martin GT4 Challenge of Great Britain already announcing their final round at Zandvoort to be a support race to the new European GT4 series. The series organisers have announced 25 teams from all over Europe have shown interest so far.
