British outfit TF Sport is set to continue racing in the FIA World Endurance Championship next season, with a new GTE Am-entered Aston Martin Vantage AMR.
This continues on from the team’s debut campaign in the championship with the old-spec Vantage (below), which is still ongoing and will finish at next month’s Le Mans 24 Hours.
Further details of the WEC programme including the driver line-up will follow in due course.
Currently, both Salih Yoluc and Charlie Eastwood have been driving with the team full-time in the FIA WEC, the third seat filled by a combination of AMR factory driver Jonny Adam and Euan Hankey during the year.
The team has also been campaigning the GT3 version of the new-generation Vantage in the British GT Championship (featured) and Blancpain Endurance Cup this year.
“It has always been our intention to continue in the FIA World Endurance Championship and we have worked hard behind the scenes to ensure that we remain at the highest level of GT racing,” said Tom Ferrier, TF Sport Director.
“We have high hopes that our entry will be accepted and that we can return to Silverstone in the new Aston Martin Vantage GTE.”
