Hot on the heels of the big-budget Hollywood movie Le Mans ’66 comes another, altogether more modest, but in its own way no less impressive offering covering the tragic events at the great race 11 years earlier.
If you haven’t already seen this astonishing short animated film covering the tragedy at the 1955 Le Mans 24 Hours then you’ll want to put 15 minutes aside to do so.
Directed by Quentin Baillieux and Produced by Eddy and Windy Production with Canal+ it tells the story through the eyes of John Fitch, Alfred Neubauer and the ill-fated Pierre Levegh.
