With the 2020 Le Mans 24 Hours now under a month away the race organisers have issued a revised entry list with 59 cars listed.
From the last provisional entry there have been two withdrawals, the #45 Thunderhead Carlin Dallara LMP2 and the #74 Kessel Racing GTE Am Ferrari.
One additional car has been added, a third Iron Lynx entered Ferrari in GTE Am, the #75 car.
There are few significant driver changes to report aside from those already noted on these pages outside of GTE Am.
The GTE AM field now has only one ‘TBA’ with multiple cars having confirmed their crews in recent days.
They include some significant names:
Jan Magnussen, initially listed to drive the now withdrawn second High Class Racing Oreca, pops up in the #66 JMW Motorsport Ferrari in GTE AM alongside IMSA auto entry Richard Heistand and Maxwell Root.
Paolo Ruberti, a long-time standout for Larbre Competition, returns as the third driver in the #50 Iron Linx Ferrari alongside the full season ELMS pairing of Claudio Chiavoni and Sergio Pianezzola.
Yuhi Sekiguichi, 2011 All Japan F3 champion and multiple race winner in both Super GT and Super Formula joins Kei Cozzilino and Takeshi Kimura in the Car Guy liveried #70 MR Racing Ferrari.
Horst Felbermayr Jr returns to Le Mans for the first time since 2011 in the #78 Proton Competition Porsche. He’s joined by Michelle Beretta with a TBA still listed.
Historic racer Steve Brooks joins Benoit Frétin and Bruno Frétin to form the three-man crew for Team Project 1’s third entry, the #89 Porsche.
The #99 Proton Porsche sees Thai racer Vutthikorn Inthraphuvasak joined by Lucas Légeret and Hugo de Sadeleer.
