1:47- The #47 car is given a stop & go penalty sadly ruining that close battle between the two leading LMP 2 cars.
1:41- Webber has closed onto the back of Sarrazin as he is light on fuel, needing to stop soon. Webber then makes his move, takes the position and dives into the pits the very next corner.
1:32- An interesting battle that appears to be developing is the top two in GTE AM. The #98 Aston Martin in the hands of Nygaard leads but is being hunted down by the #95 Aston Martin in the hands of Thiim. Thiim is around a second a lap quicker than Nygaard and is only seven behind now.
1:26- With both the #91 and the #92 car coming in for scheduled stops Nick Tandy who has just jumped out of the #91 leading car is asked if there will be any team orders, “don’t crash into each other” was his immediate response. With the cars just 15 seconds apart it may get close.
1:19- Rain is being reported around the track and it is expected to get heavier in around ten minutes.
1:17- Over the last two laps Webber has taken over four seconds out of the gap between him and Sarrazin in 2nd, the gap is under a minute now.
1:14- The #52 RAM Racing PRO Ferrari is off at Stowe facing the wrong way in the gravel. The rain appears to be getting heavier.
1:12- Griffin’s Ferrari is pulled out of the gravel and comes in immediately to hand over to Parente.
1:10- Sarrazin comes in and changes to grooved wets. Webber takes 2nd as he continues but comes in the following lap.
1:07- Everyone is coming in now for wets.
1:02- With Olivier Pla back at the wheel of the lead LMP 2 car he is pushing hard and is pulling away by around two to three seconds a lap from Bradley in the #47 Oreca in 2nd
