GRAFF will return to the ELMS for a fifth consecutive season in LMP2 in 2021 with their 2020 LMP3 crew, the all-Sarthois trio of Vincent Capillaire, Maxime and Arnold Robin crewing the #39 Oreca 07.
In LMP3 the team will commit two Ligier JS P320s:
Sébastien Page, Eric Trouillet and David Droux will form the first line up. Matthias Kaiser and Rory Penttinen, who took third place in the Michelin Le Mans Cup in 2020, will form the second line up.
GRAFF has also confirmed that they will submit an entry in the LMP2 class for the 2021 Le Mans 24 Hours.
Pascal Rauturier, Team Manager: “I can’t wait to be back on track! I think we have a very good line up to climb on the podium every weekend in ELMS in the LMP3 category. I also trust our LMP2 line up to go for the PRO / AM LMP2 title set up by the ELMS for this year.”
Sébastien Page, Driver LMP3: “After my first run at the ELMS season with a bronze line up, I am pleased to share the wheel with Eric and David, who I have already worked within the Asian Le Mans Series last year. In a Ligier JSP320, prepared by GRAFF, I am convinced that this new season will be thrilling and we will fight for the podium on each race!”
Matthias Kaiser, Driver LMP3: “I am really excited to step up to ELMS for this season!! Together with Graff and Rory, I am sure that we can fight for the win and I am already looking forward to the first race in Barcelona.’
Rory Penttinen, Driver LMP3: “So happy to be back with Matthias and Graff and to climb up to ELMS this year will be really interesting! I can’t wait to get to drive the Graff Ligier again.”
Maxime Robin, Driver LMP2: “I am very proud to continue this adventure with GRAFF. We have a trio that matches and we felt ready to jump into an LMP2. Vincent will continue to share his experience with us in this category so that we can improve during the whole season! »
Arnold Robin, Driver LMP2: “After three seasons in LMP3, we have made the decision to jump into the LMP2 category. To make this transition in the best conditions possible, we choose to trust GRAFF and Vincent Capillaire. It represents a good challenge and we will prepare ourselves to do our best.”
Vincent Capillaire, Pilote ELMS LMP2: “Thanks to the team to trust me again this year. I am pleased to work for the fourth time with GRAFF. Thanks to Maxime and Arnold for their trust and involvement. I can’t wait to work on the car.”
