Mike Skeen had a good weekend at Road America, winning both World Challenge races in his Hawk Performance backed Audi R8 LMS Ultra.
This weekend he’ll be out competing again, this time at Pike’s Peak, but the Audi will be back at the workshop whilst Skeen will be reacquainting himself with an old friend.
The team’s World Challenge campaign last year featured a Nissan GT-R and when the car was retired from that campaign a plan was hatched for a further competition programme for the Nissan.
When the roller shutters were raised this is what emerged.
The aero package could best be described as – extreme! A front splitter that could double as a grandstand and a rear wing that might just have been ordered from the Airbus Industries parts list.
