The 123 car entry for this weekend’s NLS8 includes an interesting GT3/ SP9 selection of 18 cars which adds an as-yet unannounced works Aston Martin Vantage effort, the return of Black Falcon to the GT3 ranks, an HWA-entered AMG GT3 and, in the SPX class for unhomologated cars, the second appearance of the new BMW M4 GT3.
The #21 Aston Martin is listed at present without drivers named, confirmation is set to come tomorrow of the crew.
The BMW M4 GT3 is back too with Augusto Farfus and Philipp Eng on duty for the car’s second NLS race of the season.

Black Falcon return to the SP9 class for the first time since 2019 with a Porsche 911 GT3R confirmed for both NLS 8 and NLS9.
The Black Falcon Team IDENTICA 911 GT3 R will be driven by Noah Nagelsdiek, Florian Naumann and Hendrik von Danwitz, Black Falcon and Identica continuing their support for young drivers.
A Mercedes-AMG GT4 was initially used as part of the multi-year training programme, the IDENTICA drivers finishing as class runners up in 2018 then taking the championship title in the SP10 class in 2019.
For the 2020 season, they switched to the more powerful Porsche 911 GT3 Cup MR in the SP-PRO class. Former team driver Tobias Müller part of the 2019 class winning squad and using the Porsche last season to deliver some eye-catching runs – he is now a regular GT3 contender in a variety of Championships.
In the supporting classes, there are, as usual, some big name drivers undertaking their required race runs in sub GT3 class cars to earn their ‘Ring Permits.
This week’s crop includes Jake Dennis and Niklas Krütten in the #652 BMW M240i and Simona de Silvestro and Jaxon Evans in the #633 Porsche Cayman.
