The MARC Mustang has been seen already in competition in a race that forms part of SRO’s Intercontinental GT Challenge with several examples of the Australian outfit’s Mustang bodied, Ford V8 powered beast having contested the Bathurst 12 Hour in 2018, 2019 and 2020 and now one example is set to add the Kyalami 9 Hours to the car’s cv.
A single MARC Mustang, supported by a combination of Team Dynamics Motorsport and Simpson Motorsport personnel is set to race at the 9 Hour race next month in the Invitation class.
Ex BTCC racer James Kaye will be joined in the car by Henry Neal, son of multiple BTCC Champion Matt Neal together with local racer Simon Murray.
A brief mention in social media posts from the team that suggest the MARC Mustang is now eligible for SRO GT2 events is understood by DSC to be inaccurate!
