The arrival of heavy rain mid-session saw little track action after around 40 minutes of the 90 minute night practice session, all of the fast times set in the first half of the session.
Tristan Vautier led the session in the #5 Mustang Sampling/ JDC Miller Cadillac, a lap in 1:10.796 just edging Kevin Magnussen in the #01 Chip Ganassi Racing Cadillac to second by under three-hundredths of a second.
Mikkel Jensen led LMP2 in the #52 PR1/ Mathiesen ORECA with a 1:11.589.
The top LMP3 cars were again ahead of the GTLMS, Rasmus Lindh topping the class this time in the #38 Performance Tech Ligier with a 1:16.605
The two WeatherTech Porsches again set the top two GTLM times as they had in FP1 with Fred Makowiecki again fastest in the #97 with a 1:17.253.
GTD saw Jack Hawksworth top the times in the #14 Vasser Sullivan Lexus with a 1:20.342.
