Nico Müller will join his fellow countryman Fabio Scherer with Anders Fjordbach and Dennis Andersen in the High Class Racing Oreca 07 – Gibson for the 2022 Rolex 24 at Daytonba.
It will be Müller’s first LMP2 outing since 2017 and comes ahead of a full-season planned programme with class newcomers vector Sport in the FIA WEC.
Müller was DTM runner-up in 2019 & 2020 and remains an official Audi works driver with his 2022 LMP2 commitments part of the prep for his already-announced step up to Audi’s LMDh programme for 2023.
“I’m really excited to be part of High Class Racing Daytona effort together with fellow Swiss Fabio and the two Danish rockets so I think we’ll gonna make a great Swiss-Danish team with lots of red and white and hopefully we can be successful together. I’m pretty confident that we have a good team around us, a good lineup and looking forward to share my first Rolex 24 at Daytona together with High Class Racing and these three drivers. Obviously with high goals straightaway, we go there to compete and be successful cause everybody wants to win these big races and Daytona is clearly one of them so very happy to get the chance and looking forward to go for it!”, said Müller.

Nico’s record speaks for itself and I think he will adapt quickly to the car to give his best since the very first session. The season gets underway at Daytona with the ROAR before the 24 which runs January 21 to 23 ahead of the 24-hour race itself a week later.
