2021 LMP3 Polesetters and podium finishers Muehlner Motorsports have confirmed their intention to field a two-car LMP3 effort for this month’s 2022 Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona.
The team are set to bring a pair of Duqueine D08 Nissan LMP3 cars to the capacity entry.
Car #6 will see ex Mazda factory Dpi driver Joel Miller teamed with the returning Moritz Krantz, reigning Porsche Carrera Cup Both America Pro-Am Champion Efrin Castro and 17-year-old Ayrton Original who is set to take his second Rolex 24 start after competing at Daytona last year with Performance Tech.
The sister #26 car will see Michelin Le Mans Cup and ELMS LMP3 race winner Ugo de Wilde teamed with experienced US LMP3 gentleman racer Charles Crews (the pair raced together for Muehlner at the ELMS season finale in Portimao in 2021), 17-year-old US F2000 race winner and Michelin Pilot Challenge TCR racer Nolan Siegel and 21-year-old Australian single seater racer Cameron Shields.

I have no doubt that Bernhard and the whole team of Muehlner Motorsports America will give us drivers a competitive Duqueine D08 LMP3, which will enable us to fight for the victory and may add another win to our successful cooperation!”

I look forward to returning to the Daytona 24 having last competed there in 2008 with Porsche.
