The 1000 Miles of Sebring provisional entry list for the season-opener to the 2022 FIA World Endurance Championship features a grid of 37 cars.
Sebring will see the Hypercar class in action for the first time on American soil with Toyota Gazoo Racing, Glickenhaus Racing and Alpine’s A480, Gibson in the WEC’s headline category.
Whilst the full-season drivers for Toyota had already been announced, Alpine have thus far announced only Andre Negrao whilst Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus confirm Ryan Briscoe, Olivier Pla and Romain Dumas in the #708 SCG 007C.
A five-car GTE Pro entry is confirmed with the AF Corse Ferrari, Porsche Team and Corvette Racing team confirming just two drivers apiece for the season’s opening enduro.
A record-breaking 15 LMP2 cars will contest the race with several squads naming their squads in full for the first time.

With the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship’s 12 Hours of Sebring classic to follow the very next day (19 March), fans will get the chance to see the amazing ‘Super Sebring’ double-header for the first time since 2019.
The official WEC track action starts on Wednesday 16 March, with the 1000 Miles of Sebring beginning at midday local time on Friday 18 March.
