Here’s the 2022 (almost) full grid for the 2022 FIA WEC assembled on Monday evening at Sebring’s Turn 16 and shot here by the WEC’s new lead photographer Marius Hecker.
Two cars were missing: The #56 Project 1 Porsche, in the midst of being rebuilt around the #86 GR Racing car’s chassis after the original car’s Sunday misadventure. Here it is on pitlane before the unscathed bodywork from the damaged inception car was installed.
And the #45 Algarve Pro Racing Oreca, it’s re-livery into blue not quite complete by the time the photo deadline loomed.
Still not quite complete this morning is the reliveried #88 Dempsey Proton Porsche, look carefully at the shot top and you’ll spot part of the unfinished work last night, Peter ‘Pedro’ May’s shots from the ground level tell more of the full story!
