In six seasons of DPi competition in the IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Championship DPI cars, before this weekend’s final race, have won 55 races, beaten only four times by LMP2-spec cars before the classes were separated.
Cadillacs have taken 27 race wins and three drivers Championships.
Acura cars have accounted for 17 race wins and Championships in 2019, 2020 and 2022.
Mazda took seven wins in their programme with Nissan taking four in 2017 and 2018.
Those four wins by LMP2 cars meanwhile came with two from Core autosports and one apiece from JDC Miller and Visit Florida, all three teams would go on to run DPi programmes.

Cadillac has won the Daytona 24 Hours four times in the DPi era with Acura taking two wins.
Wayne Taylor racing have taken four wins, three with Cadillac and one with Acura.

No team has won the Sebring 12 Hours twice in the DPi era and Acura has not taken a win, the winning record shows four victories for Cadillac and one apiece for Nissan and Mazda.

The only enduro that sees another marque beat Cadillac’s winning total, Mazda scored two wins to one apiece from Cadillac and Acura.

With the final race to come this weekend Cadillac’s three wins can’t be topped, and with both Nissan and Mazda having scored wins, Acura took the win in 2022 to make Petit Le Mans the only major to be won by all four Dpi marques

Mazda’s RT24P DPi only ran in factory hands with the initial programme handled by Speedsource as Mazda Motorsports, Team Joest then stepped in as a principal service provider and then Multimatic Motorsports completed the story.
The Ligier-based Nissan engined DPi developed for Extreme Speed Motorsport later saw service with Core Autosports before the programme was halted.

85 Drivers have started at least one race in a DPi.
Of those 39 have scored wins with just the 2022 Petit Le Mans remaining:
Ricky Taylor will complete the DPi era as the most successful driver with 18 race wins.
Filipe Albuquerque is the only other driver into double figures with 12.
Pipo Derani, Renger van der Zande and Hélio Castroneves have 8 wins apiece.
Jordan Taylor has seven DPi race wins 7.
Harry Tincknell, Felipe Nasr and Jonathan Bomarito all scored 6 wins.
Oliver Jarvis – after the win at Petit Le Mans in 2022 – stands alone on 5 wins
Eric Curran, Joao Barbosa, Dane Cameron, and Sebastien Bourdais have all won four times each in DPis.
Juan Pablo Montoya and Johannes van Overbeek are three time winners.
Tom Blomqvist, Ryan Briscoe, Scott Dixon, Christian Fittipaldi, Ryan Hunter-Reay, Kamui Kobayashi and Alex Lynn have all taken two race wins.
No fewer than 17 drivers have a single DPi race win on their cvs: Fernando Alonso, Max Angelelli, Earl Bamber, Ryan Dalziel, Loic Duval, Jeff Gordon, Brendon Hartley, Neel Jani, Nico Lapierre, Kevin Magnussen, Tristan Nunez, Simon Pagenaud, Olivier Pla, Alexander Rossi, Scott Sharp and Tristan Vautier.
