Ginetta has produced five examples of their G61 LMP3 prototype with examples having raced in Asian Le Mans Series, Ultimate Cup and the Prototype Cup Germany since its launch in 2020.
All five though look set to contest the 2023 Prototype Cup Germany after some real success for the car in the hands of Konrad Motorsport in the inaugural Championship this year.
Franz Konrad told DSC recently that he had obtained four of the five cars (including the pair originally sold to ARC Bratislava) and would race two in 2023 with the other pair leased to an Austrian team who are also set to enter the German Series.
The fifth car will be raced again by Gebhardt Racing (above).
Before then though at least one of the Konrad cars is set to be seen in the 2023 Asian Le Mans Series for a second consecutive season, in fact, a third as the same car was entered by ARC Bratislava in 2021.
