Nielsen, Herberth & Motopark Confirm Asian Le Mans Drivers

The pieces of the Asian Le Mans entry puzzle are coming together...

Three more teams have confirmed driver line-ups for the 2023/24 Asian Le Mans Series season over the past 24 hours, as the season opener in Sepang next month edges closer.

In LMP2, Nielsen Racing’s #24 ORECA will see British GT regular Ian Loggie team up with newly-crowned ELMS LMP3 champion Alejandro García and WRT LMP2 driver Ferdinand Habsburg.

The #24 07’s livery has also been revealed. It’s a nice throwback to the team’s first-ever paint scheme, which was used 10 years ago in Radical competition.

Meanwhile, in the GT ranks, 2021 GT class title winner Herberth Motorsport has confirmed that it will race with Antares Au, Matteo Cairoli and Tim Heinemann. They will share the team’s striking #33 Porsche 911 GT3 R (featured).

Mercedes-AMG team Motopark has also confirmed the trio that will share its #73 AMG GT3. All three competed with the team in this year’s GT Open championship: Morten Stromsted and Lukas Dunner (who were co-drivers this season) and Heiko Neumann.

This year’s Asian Le Mans Series entry is shaping up nicely, with 39 cars entered for the full season. The most recent list can be found HERE >>>
