IMSA has published the entry list for the 72nd running of the Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring, which takes place on Saturday 16 March.
Headlining the list of significant changes for this second round of the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship and Michelin Endurance Cup, is the American debut of the new Lamborghini SC63 prototype. Lamborghini Iron Lynx enters the #63 for Matteo Cairoli, Andrea Caldarelli, and Romain Grosjean, hoping for a better outcome at the punishing Central Florida circuit than Lamborghini had in the SC63’s world premiere at the WEC Qatar 1812km.

There are also some changes among the ranks of the Porsche teams, namely at Porsche Penske Motorsport. Matt Campbell, who was originally set to drive at the Rolex 24 only, is now back aboard the #7 Porsche 963 alongside fellow Rolex winners Dane Cameron and Felipe Nasr. Frédéric Makowiecki will be in the #6 Porsche with Nick Tandy and Mathieu Jaminet – after Makowiecki drove for Wright Motorsports in GTD at Daytona.
Julien Andlauer will get his first GTP start in the #5 Proton Competition Porsche alongside the returning Gianmaria Bruni and Alessio Picariello. Andlauer drove for Proton Competition at Qatar for his top-tier prototype debut.
In LMP2, TDS Racing have not yet named a Bronze driver for their #11 ORECA 07-Gibson – a role that was expected to be taken up by Steven Thomas.
DragonSpeed’s line-up also has two new pro drivers in the form of former Andretti Motorsports LMP3 driver Rasmus Lindh, and Peugeot Hypercar reserve driver Malthe Jakobsen who drove at Daytona for CrowdStrike by APR. Henrik Hedman completes what is described by the team s an ‘All-Viking’ line-up.
As expected, Charlie Eastwood has returned to Tower Motorsports to drive the #8 ORECA with John Farano and Michael Dinan.
GTD Pro and GTD each have one fewer car than at Daytona. SunEnergy1 Racing is missing from the GTD Pro ranks, while KellyMoss with Riley has withdrawn its #92 Porsche 911 GT3 R. This leaves GTD Pro at 12 cars and GTD at 22 cars.
The debut of the Iron Lynx SC63 also brings change to the team’s two GTD Pro Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2s. The green #19 will continue with the trio of Franck Perera, Jordan Pepper, and Mirko Bortolotti. The yellow #60, meanwhile, will showcase Leonardo Pulcini in his IMSA debut, alongside Claudio Schiavoni and Matteo Cressoni.
Daytona 24H class winner Risi Competizione has selected Daniel Serra, Davide Rigon, and James Calado to represent the team at Sebring aboard the #62 Ferrari 296 GT3.
Over in GTD, Ian James will partner young Canadians Roman de Angelis and Zacharie Robichon in the #27 Aston Martin Vantage GT3, and Klaus Bachler will return for another ride in the #86 MDK Motorsports Porsche.
