The provisional entry list for the ELMS 4 Hours of Le Castellet, the second round of the 2024 season, has been revealed this afternoon.
The grid features the same 43 cars as Round 1, with 14 in LMP2 and eight in LMP2 Pro/Am, plus 10 LMP3s and 11 LMGT3s. There will be 128 drivers and 28 teams representing 30 different nations.
It is a near-identical entry to Barcelona, but there are two names to note. In LMP2 Paul Loup Chatin is listed once again in COOL Racing’s #47 ORECA. The Frenchman was a late addition to the team for Barcelona, standing in for the injured Ferdinand Habsburg whose recovery is ongoing after his testing incident with Alpine.
Interestingly, Habsburg was listed on the FIA WEC 6 Hours of Spa provisional entry list this morning in Alpine’s #35 A424 Hypercar. The race in Belgium is scheduled for the weekend following the 4 Hours of Le Castellet.
Elsewhere Eric Trouillet is set to race with Ultimate in its #35 Ligier JS P320 alongside Jean-Baptiste Lahaye and Matthieu Lahaye. In the opening round, Alexandre Yvon filled the seat.
