Car Collection will make their debut in the 8H of Indianapolis next month.
The team will enter a Porsche 911 GT3 R in the US International GT Challenge IGTC round, their first IGTC appearance since the Gulf 12Hours last year where the team scored a class victory.
The team’s Porsche 911 GT3 R will be driven by the American Ashish ‘HASH’ Patel and two Swiss drivers Alex Fontana and Yannick Mettler.
2024 GT3 debutant ‘Hash’ and experienced professional racing driver Alex Fontana are competing together in the International GT Open for Car Collection this season and have already achieved some good results. They are joined by Yannick Mettler, another very experienced endurance driver who has already contested the 24H Barcelona and the 12H Abu Dhabi for Car Collection. He also won the IGTC race in Kyalami in 2023 in the Pro-AM class, in which the trio will also be competing this time.
The Indianapolis 8 Hour will take place from 2 to 5 October.
