The Super Taikyu Mirai Organisation (STMO) has announced the provisional calendar for the 2025 Super Taikyu Series, which once again features seven rounds at the six major Japanese racing circuits.
As revealed on the series’ official YouTube channel on Sunday, the opening round of the 2025 season will move to a new venue: Mobility Resort Motegi will host the first round of the championship on 23 March, three weeks after a two-day preseason test at Motegi on Sunday and Monday, 2–3 March.
Also moving up in the calendar is the series’ annual visit to Suzuka Circuit, which will now be the second round of the championship taking place on 27 April.
After that, is the crown jewel of the Super Taikyu Series, the 10th annual Fuji Super TEC 24 Hours. A pre-event test at Fuji is scheduled for Thursday 8 May, three weeks before the Fuji 24 Hours weekend begins on 30 May, and the race runs from 31 May–1 June, two weeks before the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Sportsland SUGO moves to the fourth round of the championship, now taking place in the summer on 6 July. Following that, the series visits Autopolis on 27 July, before a three-month break.
Okayama International Circuit and Fuji Speedway will continue to host the final two rounds of the season. Round six at Okayama is scheduled for 26 October, and the season finale at Fuji will take place on 16 November.
All dates are subject to change, and further information including race formats and participating classes will be announced at a later date by the STMO.
