Mercedes-AMG Customer Racing Championship
The Mercedes-AMG Customer Racing Championship, which was held for the first time in 2014, is a brand-internal championship.
All Customer Racing teams and drivers of legal age who contested official races with a Mercedes-AMG GT3, GT4 or GT2 between October 2023 and October 2024 were eligible to participate.
Entries with extended factory support are not eligible.
Over 400 drivers and more than 100 teams competed this year.
Ten categories (eight driver and two team classifications) saw a total of 35 drivers and teams honoured with joint winners in the GT2 Driver and two joint third place finishers in the GT4 Pro Driver categories.
Points were awarded according to the 25-18-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1 system commonly used in international motorsport, with points then being multiplied by a defined factor depending on the level and the respective format of the competition.
In the drivers’ championship, separate classifications were held for the GT3, GT4 and GT2 cars. The Pro Driver classifications account for drivers with platinum, gold or silver FIA rankings.
The Driver classifications saw Bronze-ranked drivers recognised too.
The top 3 drivers and the top 5 teams in each of the classifications were awarded high-quality prizes from Mercedes AMG partners Canyon, IWC, MSI, PUMA and RAVENOL.
Top of the tree with the main prize in both the Overall Driver and Overall Pro Driver classifications was a Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 4MATIC+ Coupé.
Charles Dawson and Russell Ward took the honours.
Charles Dawson took the GT4 Pro-Am title with Team Parker Racing in the British GT Championship and had race winning success too with the NM Racing Team in the GT4 European Series Powered by RAFA Racing Club.
