Yorkshire-based motorsport manufacturer Ginetta Cars has announced that Mike Simpson has been appointed as the company’s chief executive.
Simpson, who previously held the role of motorsport director, is now responsible for all areas of the business spanning Ginetta manufacturing and sales, its race track business and its US business TMI. He will also continue to manage its race series in the UK.
“After 17 years at Ginetta I am delighted to be offered the CEO of Motorsports role,” Simpson said.
“We have a highly skilled and loyal team at Ginetta, who make everything happen, backed by our Chairman Lawrence Tomlinson.
“Our products compete worldwide, and we continue to deliver as one of the UK’s biggest motorsport success stories, offering first-class support, professional events and championship-winning products.
“Our plan is growth and expansion and I’m looking forward to rolling up my sleeves and seeing where this next chapter takes us.”
