From the beginning of next year, fans of sportscar racing will be able to build their very own version of AO Racing’s ‘Rexy’, with the team’s popular dinosaur-liveried Porsche 911 GT3 R Rawr the subject of LEGO’s latest Technic set, this deal following on from a phenomenally successful release of a Hot Wheels version of the car.
The 1313-piece kit sports the team’s 2025 IMSA Sportscar Championship livery, complete with its #77 and gold tooth for winning the 2024 title. The car includes features such as working suspension, synchronised air jacks, a six-cylinder boxer engine with the correct firing order and rear-wheel drive with a differential.
The final model measures 14.9 inches long, 6.6 inches wide and 4.2 inches tall, and joins the likes of the Ferrari 488 GTE and Peugeot 9X8 in the LEGO Technic motorsport range.
“It’s an honour for us to have our Dino-Porsche brought to life in the LEGO universe,” said Team Principal Gunnar Jeannette.
“We hope that kids, young and ol,d across the globe will enjoy the challenge of putting LEGO Rexy together and playing with all the unique features.”
The LEGO Technic Porsche 911 GT3 R Rexy AO Racing set will be available from 1st January 2026.
