It’s time to pause and to give and offer thanks for another extraordinary year.
In a world that seems often more difficult than it needs to be we find intellectual and social sanctuary in our sport, the excellence it presents, the friendships we have around it and the sheer entertainment of the on and off-track action.
We want to thanks you our readers for continuing to embrace our way of reporting all of it, with good humour, fairness and humanity.
To everyone involved in the sport our thanks too – because, let’s face it, without their efforts this would all be a bit pointless!
And, of course, to those that have contributed to DSC as writers and photographers, thanks everyone for continuing to set the standard that many others try to match.
Pretty much all concerned are aware of what comes next – and those that don’t won’t have much longer to wait to find out!
