The 2013 Dunlop Dubai 24 Hours Provisional entry list has been published with an impressive 82 cars listed, most with driver line-ups already allocated, for the race on 11-12 January.
The top A6 class sees a high quality 28 car mixed bag including 2012 winners Team Abu Dhabi by Black Falcon return with their Mercedes pair , additional Mercs from de Lorenzi Racing and British GT Regulars Precis Spark, the Jones Twins sharing their car with their sons in a five man all Jones line-up!
BMW are represented by Saudi Falcons Team Schubert again with a pair of Z4 GT3s whilst the Porsche GT3 entry comes from Fach Auto Tech (2 cars), Attempto Racing (2 cars) and single cars from Stadler Motorsport and ClikVers.de.
WRT have a pair of Audi R8 LMS Ultras listed, with driver squads yet to be announced, Elton Julian’s Dragonspeed outfir enter their R8 LMS too.
The Ferraris set the qualifying pace in 2012 and the 458s are back in increased numbers – AF Corse have entered a pair and there are singleton entries from locally based Dragon Racing, Visiom Racing (this car listed as a GT2) and Ram Racing. Lamborghini Gallardos are set to be raced by Gallardo regulars Gulf Racing Middle East, Rhinos Leipert and JLOC.
One of the V8 Racing ex GT1 Corvettes is entered too, and theres a singleton Dodge Viper from Manor MP Motorsport.
There are Dubai 24 Hour debuts for both the Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3, a single car entry from the Asian Le Mans Series bound Craft Eurasia outfit, and the McLaren MP4-12C GT3, Lapidus Racing and MRS GT entering a car apiece.
There are a further nine single make Porsche racers in the 997 (plus a single 996) class, Soheil Ayari listed aboard one car here.
Class SP2 is a catch-all group including some of the rapid silhouette tourers and some sub GT3 GTs, including the new VDS GT 001-R making its racing debut.
SP3 is composed of 11 GT4 spec racers with some strong teams listed including a pair of Nissan 370Zs for RJN Motorsport, Asrton Martins for Barwell Motorsport and Gulf Racing Middle East, a pair of BMW M3 GT4s for Bonk Motorsport, the very rapid Cor Euser Motorsport Lotus Evora and Ginetta G50s for British GT regulars Optimum Motorsport and Italian crew Nova Race.
Amongst the touring cars in other classes AllInkl field a Seat Leon Supercoppa for René Münnich/ Marc Basseng/ Markus Winkelhock and Jonny Adam rolls back the years with a run in a Renault Clio.
