Lionspeed Enters SP9 Pro Porsche For N24

Lionspeed GP will compete in the SP9 Pro class at this year’s Nürburgring 24 Hours.

The German outfit has entered the #24 Porsche 911 GT3 R (992.2) for Porsche factory drivers Laurens Vanthoor and Laurin Heinrich, and Porsche contracted driver Ricardo Feller.

Both Vanthoor and Feller are former winners at the event, having triumphed in 2015 and 2024 respectively, whilst 24-year-old Heinrich is set to make his second appearance at the race having debuted in 2023.

Of the trio, only Feller has previously raced for Lionspeed, having competed with them in GT World Challenge Europe last season, although Vanthoor and Heinrich were set to drive for the team in this year’s Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie season opener before it got called off due to the weather conditions.

Lionspeed GP last competed in Pro at the Nürburgring 24 Hours in 2023, when it ran in partnership with Car Collection Motorsport. The team then became an independent operation in 2024, when it won the SP9 Pro-Am class, before missing the race last year.

The 2026 ADAC 24H Nürburgring will be held on the weekend of 14th to 17th May 2026.
