DSC has arrived on-site for the opening round of the 2026 European Le Mans Series, at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, with set-up well underway ahead of the start of track action for the two-day pre-season test tomorrow.
The record 47-car field features a handful of new and returning teams, whilst several others have adopted new liveries ahead of the 2026 season.
Defending champion Panis Racing is now sporting the green of its new partner, Forestier Racing, on its renumbered #29 ORECA 07 – Gibson.
TDS Racing’s sister #14 LMP2 Pro/Am car, which it runs under its own name, also has a new look, which is similar to its IMSA SportsCar Championship livery.
Vector Sport has switched from white to red for its first season running two LMP2 cars.
DKR Engineering has made some subtle changes to the design of its #3 ORECA. DKR, notably, is running its new chassis, #140, in ELMS competition for the first time, having debuted it during the Asian Le Mans Series over the winter.
Small changes have also been made at CLX Motorsport, which no longer runs with Pure Rxcing branding on its #37 ORECA this year.
IDEC Sport has permanently switched to the white design it ran at the end of last year, with black stripes (and Genesis Magma Racing branding) on the #18 ORECA, whilst red stripes identify the #28 entry.
Proton Competition’s Ford Racing-backed #9 ORECA will run in white, blue and grey. Ford Racing factory driver Mike Rockenfeller is set to make just his second-ever LMP2 start next weekend, following on from a one-off appearance for Vector Sport at the 2022 1000 Miles of Sebring.
The sister #88 Proton car features the blue of Felbermayr, as it did in the Asian Le Mans Series.
Nielsen Racing’s two cars are both wrapped in the team’s new scheme.
AO by TF’s ‘Spike the Dragon’ has undergone a small change from last year, as it now features a gold fin courtesy of the team’s 2025 LMP2 Pro/Am title.
AF Corse’s #83 ORECA appears set to feature additional white compared to previous years.
And the #19 Rossa Racing by Virage ORECA is presented in the team’s traditional yellow for its LMP2 return.
In LMP3, DKR Engineering has changed its livery in line with the adjustments made to its P2 machine, whilst also switching from Ginetta to Ligier.
Rinaldi Racing is the other team to have swapped to the Ligier for this season, with the German team, which is no longer partnered with WTM, remaining in white.
Eurointernational has a new livery for this season, with its #11 Ligier now sporting BWT backing and with it the water company’s familiar pink.
Last year, the BWT scheme featured on Inter Europol’s #88 Ligier, with the Polish outfit switching back to its traditional green and yellow for 2026.
And in LMGT3, defending champion TF Sport has swapped its ‘Chromevette’ for the yellow, green and white design it ran in the Asian Le Mans Series.
Runner-up Richard Mille AF Corse has moved away from its previous blue-and-white livery, with orange now prominently featured on the #50 Ferrari 296 LMGT3 Evo.
And Racing Spirit of Leman’s #59 Aston Martin Vantage AMR LMGT3 will compete in silver this year, a change which has also been made for its Ligier LMP3 effort.
Proton Competition has new liveries on both of its Porsche 911 GT3 R (992.2) LMGT3s, including its 75 years of Porsche Motorsport tribute scheme that looks stunning up close.
Iron Lynx, too, has two new liveries for its pair of Mercedes-AMG LMGT3s, one of which is running with QMMF backing.
Kessel Racing’s #74 Ferrari features substantially more orange for 2026.
Whilst High Class Racing will run in red and white for its maiden LMGT3 campaign, retaining the colours it has used for its prototype programme in recent years.
United Autosports has made only subtle changes to its #23 McLaren LMGT3 Evo, including the addition of Take Heart Mercy Mission logos. The Anglo-American squad has entered into a partnership with the charity, which provides life-changing care for children in Sri Lanka.
And since its livery hasn’t changed, GR Racing’s #86 Ferrari offers a good look at the adjustments made to the 296 LMGT3 through its new-for-2026 Evo kit. This includes changes to the front dive planes and to the mirrors.
Track action at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya begins tomorrow, with a full day of testing for the European Le Mans Series runners starting at 09:00 CEST.
