Following its initial fire-up last month, Ford Racing has released another update video about the progress of its upcoming Hypercar challenger.
The video focuses on Ford’s preparations for its return to the top class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
At Dearborn, Michigan, its 5.4-litre Coyote-based V8 engine, which is set to power Ford’s ORECA-based LMDh machine, is shown simulating laps of the Circuit des 24 Heures du Mans.
Footage is also included from Ford Racing’s Technology Centre in North Carolina, where the car is being tested around the 13.626-kilometre circuit on the simulator.
The currently unnamed prototype will begin on-track testing later this month.
