I.S.R. Racing
I.S.R. Racing will field Frédéric Vervisc, Marco Bonanomi and Filip Salaquarda for the 2015 Blancpain Endurance Series in the team’s Audi R8 LMS ultra.
Vervisch arrives in the Blancpain Endurance Series via the Belgian Racing Car Championship after a long career in single seaters including German & Asian Formula 3 Champion and Champcar Atlantic Rookie Champion. His single seater career finished with 3rd place in Superleague Formula.
Frédéric Vervisch: “Racing in a highly professional team was my first objective for 2015 and when Igor Salaquarda showed me I.S.R Racing sporting programme and the team’s working method I realized what my future would have been. Marco and Filip are two excellent team mates and the Audi R8 LMS ultra is a very competitive car: I am certain a successful season is ahead of us”.
Team Brazil Sign Abreau
Átila Abreu will join Valdeno Brito in the #77 BMW Team Brazil Z4 GT3 in the 2015 Blancpain GT Series.
The team’s second Z4 GT3 (#0) will be shared again by Cacá Bueno and Sérgio Jimenez.
After a brief appearance in the Spanish round of the 2013 season, when he raced alongside Sérgio Jimenez, Átila Abreu now returns to the Brazilian team for the full 2015 Blancpain GT Series. The 27 year-old is looking forward to a new challenge in his career, ten years after his previous European racing experience, when he finished runner-up to Sebastian Vettel in the German Formula BMW Series.
Since then he has been active in the Brazilian Stock Car championship, in which he finished second last year.

Stock Car is the most important category in Brazil and the Blancpain GT Series is growing every year, getting more and more attention all over the world. The category has great cars, major manufacturers and I am very proud that I can represent BMW.”
Black Falcon Confirm Two Car Effort
Black Falcon will enter two Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 in the 2015 Blancpain Endurance Series.
One car will compete in the Pro Cup, in the hands of Hubert Haupt, Abdulaziz Bin Turki Al Faisal and Yelmer Buurman. The line-up of the other car, which will be part of the Pro-Am Cup, is to be announced shortly.
Black Falcon ended last year’s Blancpain Endurance Series on a high, with a podium finish at the iRacing.com Nürburgring 1000. The green and black Mercedes had led the race on a number of occasions, before crossing the line in third.
2014 pairing Haupt and Al Faisalar joined by experienced Dutchman Yelmer Buurman, continuing the collaboration which led them to victory in this year’s Dubai 24 hours. Buurman is also a former race winner in the Blancpain Endurance Series, claiming the win in the 2013 Le Castellet round.
Pierre Ehret For Full BES Season
After his Mercedes debut at this years 24h of Dubai, sportscar-veteran Pierre Ehret will continue to campaign a Mercedes AMG SLS GT3 of the german Car Collection team in the Gentleman-Trophy of the Blancpain Endurance Series. He´ll share a car again with Alexander Mattschull
“Together with Alexander I decided to switch from Ferrari to Mercedes this year. Car Collection convinced us at my initial race this year, the 24h of Dubai.” explained Ehret. The race in Dubai ended with a solid 6th in class (A6-Am) and 18th for the all german crew of Pierre Ehret, Tim Müller, Dirk Parhofer, Jürgen Krebs and Norbert Pauels. “Car Collection acquired this car recently back from South America and rebuilt it completely. We expect it to be in brand new condition for the season-start. The 24h of Nürburgring is also on our schedule and we want to do at least one VLN-heat in preparation for this, with currently VLN2 on the 25th of April under consideration.”
Additionally Ehret will also contest the 14th edition of the 25h of Thunderhill which can be considered as his californian home-race. Ehret will field again his Award Motorsport / Ehret Family Winery-Porsche for the american enduro next December. Appearaces at further races are in negotiations but not necessary fixed as Ehret explains. “Le Mans is always a topic, but this year the remaining cockpits are that expensive, that It is very likely that I’m taking a break at La Sarthe. I also had offers to run an entire season at the Tudor-USCC-Series, but decided against it. The packed calender with 10 races was impossible to be matched with a reasonable balance between time for family, business, leisure and sports. So I decided to stick to the 9-10 races (incuding Dubai) we fixed this year.”
