German squad Team Motopark has been selected to field the SRO GT Academy entry at next year’s 24 Hours of Spa, for the four regional GT3 winners of this year’s Academy contest.
The team has been chosen by SRO to a run a Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO in either the Gold or Silver Cup, for the best Silver-ranked driver under 30 from GT World Challenge America, Asia and Australia, as well as British GT, this season.
Team Motopark, a successful single-seater outfit which has recently expanded into GT racing and found success in the International GT Open, made its 24 Hours of Spa debut this year with a one-off entry into the Silver Cup.
“We are honoured to be chosen by SRO to be part of this unique project,” said Timo Rumpfkeil, team principal and owner of Team Motopark. “I trust that, with our experience of promoting young talent we can add a lot of value. Together with SRO we are creating a comprehensive programme to ensure that the SRO GT Academy graduates will receive the maximum support possible.”

Tom Sargent, Yu Kuai, Oscar Targett and Jarrod Waterski are currently on track to win the prize drive, although with races remaining in all four series, this could still change.
The 2026 SRO GT Academy also includes contests in FFSA GT and the GT2 European Series, to win €150,000 towards a GT World Challenge Europe drive and a full-paid (excluding crash damage) GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup seat respectively. These competitions are currently being led by Léo Jousset and Jay Mo Härtling.
