Entry For All Aston Martin Le Mans Support Race (updated)

The latest entry list for the Le Mans 24 Hours supporting Aston Martin Festival race shows 39 cars set to contest the race.

A trio of GT2 spec cars will see British GT Champion Andrew Howard in his newly acquired V8 Vantage GTE (below).

Roald Goethe fields his 2011/12 ILMC/ WEC car. The Japanese based Alpha Classics racing sees car owner Hiroyuuki Akane paired with current British GT Aston driver Andrew Jarman.

The GT3 pack sees five V12 Vantage GT3s and a single DBRS9 listed (Stephane Ratel’s proposed drive in one of his DBRS9s has not (yet) come to fruition.

Beechdean AMR list Phil Drybrugh, Motionsport’s earlier entry is now missing from the latest list. Strata 21 enter the speedy looking duo of Paul White and Tom Onslow Cole – Here’s an opportunity perhaps to judge the relative speeds on the full Le Mans circuit of current spec GT3 machinery, this race the only one to allow this comparison to happen!

The initially entered pair of Motorbase entered cars have also disappeared from the entry.

Kevin Buckler and Christina Nielsen are due to drive a pair of TRG AMR entered GT3 cars too. 22 GT Racing field both their DBRS9 and V12 Vantage GT3 for Mark Farmer and Tom Alexander.

No fewer than 25 GT4 V8 Vantages are listed, many from familiar teams and with drivers well versed in the noble art of GT4 jousting.

TV presenter Paul Hollywood shares a Beechdean entered car with Aston Martin’s David Richards whilst TRG AMR enter no fewer than six cars in the class, including one for Ben Keating, the American driver no doubt getting valuable additional track time ahead of the main race where he crews the GTE Am Viper.

One od a pair of AML entered GT4s features N24 pairing Liam Talbot and AML test driver Wolfgang Schuhbauer with the other seeing Aston Designer Marek Reichman get a drive alongside Swiss rock singer and amateur racer Nina Vetterli-Treml.

Finally the Invitation class where Stuart Hall will pilot the glorious Lola Aston Martin LMP1 from the ROFGO Collection joined by Young Driver AMR boss Jan Struve in a GT1 spec DBR9 and Jack Nellman in an ex Nurburgring 24 Hours Aston Zagato. One of the pair of Aston Martin GT12s that contested the Nurburgring 24 Hours is listed with AML CEO Andy Palmer set to drive alongside author and Journalist Jason Harper.
