The weekend’s action in the British GT Championship shifts to Silverstone, the ‘Home of British Motorsport’ in the midst of a four-week stretch that sees GT3 cars racing each weekend!
The British championship has its now-annual three-hour endurance race this weekend, with some important changes to the entry to note.
The grid will see the unexpected but very welcome addition of a Trackspeed-entered Porsche 911 GT3, with David Ashburn joined by Norbert Siedler.
Another change to the entry will see Salih Yoluc and Euan Hankey replaced in the #12 Von Ryan Mclaren 650S GT3 by Gilles Vannelet and Adrian Quaife-Hobbs.
Adam Carroll will be otherwise engaged at the Le Mans Test Day, so the FF Corse Ferrari of Gary Eastwood will be crewed by Richard Lyons this weekend.
Team Parker adds its Audi R8 LMS Ultra to the entry for Ian Loggie and Callum McLeod.
GT4 sees one new entrant and one giving Silverstone a miss.
Charlie Hollings (below) and Alistair Barclay are entered in a Ginetta G55 GT4 for PMW Expo Racing/Optimum Motorport, but budgetary constraints have left the Aston Martin GT4 of Jade Edwards parked for this weekend.
