ROFGO Aston, One Off, For Now!
The late addition to the entry from the #96 Aston Martin sees Roald Goethe’s car back in unexpected action, joined by Stuart Hall and Richie Stanaway.
At the moment the race is a one-off, with the tech support being provided by a happy band of helpers from campaigns past, and in terms of the RoFGO collection boys, present, but if the car proves to be competitive, and Roald reportedly had an impressive test here last week, a couple more outings might be in the offing with Paul Ricard and Spa mentioned.
Murphy Driver Squads Confirmed
Murphy Prototypes have announced their full driver line-ups for both the LMP2 and LMP3 efforts.
As exclusively revealed yesterday here The #48 Oreca 03-R will be crewed by Damien Faulkner and Shaun Balfe, with young Irish talent Sean Doyle making up the trio.
In the Ginetta Tony Ave and Doug Peterson are confirmed but with Ave’s Gold ranking unchanged the team needed a second non-Pro ranked driver and that has arrived in the shape of ex Ferrari Challenge Europe Champion and British GT race winner Michael Cullen.
Eurointernational Withdraw Second Car
Eurointernational have arrived at Silverstone with only one Ligier JSP3, the #12 entry, which saw Andrea Dromedari as the only named driver on the provisional entry, has been withdrawn though the team are looking to double up from Imola.
That leaves the overall entry at a still impressive 44 cars.
