FFSA GT Entries
A
few weeks before the first round of the 2005 FFSA GT Championship,
the FFSA has produced a round-up of the 2005 entrants – writes
Claude Foubert.
The categories will now
be called GT1 and GT2, as in the FIA GT Championship (and other
series).
In the GT1 category,
Patrick Bornhauser (right), the defending champion will be racing
again, partnered by regular co-driver Olivier Thévenin.
Force One will
enter two Chrysler Vipers, one for Antoine Leclerc and Thierry Stepec,
the second for Bruno Dubreuil and Julien Gilbert.

DDO will enter
its Saleen S7-R again, with the same line-up, Dominique Dupuy and
François Fiat.

As already revealed
by dsc, Larbre Compétition will enter two cars: a Ferrari
550 Maranello for Jérôme Policand and Gabriel Balthazard,
and the Chrysler Viper for Patrice Goueslard and Olivier Dupard.
Lease Plan Autovitesse
will enter its Chrysler Viper, driven by Anthony Beltoise and Jean-Luc
Blanchemain (moving from Larbre).
Another Viper will be
entered by First Racing, for Fabien Giroix and David Tuchbant.
A new attraction this
year will be the Lister Storm of Red Racing, for Iradj Alexander
David / TBA which will have the technical support of Listers themselves.
The Lister is expected to be black, but with red and white stripes
on the rear.
Tarrès Auto and
PSI will enter Biturbo Porsches.
No news yet on Mirabeau
Competition entries – with more news to come regarding other
likely entrants (and drivers).
In the GT2 category,
the IMSA team has entered a brand new Porsche 911 GT3 RSR, for Raymond
Narac and Sébastien Dumez, the latter a regular in the ‘GT1’
category until now.
