Harry Tincknell will race in all the remaining World Endurance Championship rounds in the #67 Ford GT Alongside Andy Priaulx and Marino Franchitti. Originally, Tincknell was only slated to drive at Silverstone, Spa and Le Mans.
Tincknell is still a contracted Nissan factory driver following on from last year’s LMP1 programme, though the Japanese manufacturer has allowed him to extend his programme with the Le Mans-winning American GT team.
Along with his WEC teammates, Tincknell posted a fourth at Silverstone and second at Spa in the opening two WEC races but finished ninth in the Le Mans 24 Hours after a gearbox issue early in the race effectively scuppered their podium ambitions.
Racing in the ELMS, Tincknell leads the standings driving G-Drive Racing.
The next WEC round is at the Nürburgring once again before the long haul portion of the season, and is being held on the 22nd to the 24th of July.
