The Asian Le Mans Series 2016/17 LMP3 grid looks set to be further boosted by round three at Chang Circuit in Buriram, Thailand with a further pair of new cars likely to join the entry.
In addition to the new Ligier JS P3 set to be debuted by Absolute Racing for the 2017 races and beyond a further Ginetta G57 P3, the fifth in the current Championship, also looks set to join the grid.
The additional Ginetta will be a second car under the Aylezo Ecotint Racing banner with a new Japanese customer set to take delivery.
Indeed, were it not for some commercial delays the car could have raced this weekend, Zen Low’s team having made moves to accommodate the expected new arrival.
The two additional cars could see the LMP3 grid hit double figures with nine in the class here in Fuji, five Ginettas, five Ligiers and the PS Racing Adess 03, the second PS Racing car, the solo CN class entry from Zhuhai a no show in Japan.
