Andy Meyrick will contest the Gulf 12 Hours this December with Spanish-based team Bullitt Racing in a Mercedes AMG GT4.
Meyrick will be driving the Mercedes with regular co-driver Stephen Pattrick in both races. For the Gulf 12 Hours the pair will also be joined by Micha Stanley.
Meyrick last raced in the Abu Dhabi Gulf 12 Hour event in 2013 as a factory driver for Bentley with M-Sport Bentley and successfully debuted the new Bentley Continental GT3, bringing home a fourth-placed result.
This appearence in the Gulf 12 Hours will follow the team’s participation in the Bahrain GT Festival, which will serve as Meyrick’s return to racing after suffering injuries in an incident during the Spa 24 Hours back in July.
“2018 has been a good year for us”, said Meyrick. “We achieved what felt like the elusive first win of the season in Spa after being close in previous races, we got to grips with a new car very quickly and Stephen has been driving fantastically. I’m really looking forward to both races. We definitely have the ability to add to our win-tally and end the year well.”
