Bathurst Wednesday Paddock Notes 2, More Arrivals

BMWs, Audis, Nissans and more

A second quick-fire potter around the Bathurst paddock reveals several more teams are now unloading (or unlocking their garages).

Both BMW GT3s are here with Spa winners Walkenhorst Motorsport in the final pit garage at pit out.

Alongside them it will be an emotional weekend for the BMW Team Schnitzer crew in the wake of the tragic news last week about the untimely passing of their beloved Team Principal Charly Lamm.

AudiWorld is also open for business with four cars already garaged and a further car unloaded and at the rear, remember that in common with the other ‘new’ cars Audi will not be running the 2019 ‘Evo’ upgrade kit, the formal homologation not yet in place.

The Erebus-operated AMG for The Bend is now in the garage (pictured top), so too is the Vodafone-backed Triple Eight car, the team taking a dozen goes to get the car perfectly aligned in the garage, it’s a stunner!

MARC Cars are unloading too, a pair of Ford Focus bodied first generation cars and one of the two Mustang bodied ‘Gen 2’ cars already with wheels on the ground.

The second Lamborghini is also now garaged, the Wall Racing Huracan in full BASF tribute colours, a thing of beauty!

KCMG’s Nissans are being unloaded as this is being typed.

And a couple of the Class B Porsches are now here too, the Carrera Cup Asia entered car and the Grove Motorsport GT3 Cup.
