MV2S Racing To Step Up To ELMS

LMP3 Ligier Effort

After spending 2020 in the Ligier European Series alongside an entry in the LMP3 category in the Michelin Le Mans Cup, MV2S Racing will enter a Ligier JS P320 in the ELMS in 2021.

For the second consecutive year, Christophe Cresp stays on and moves up with the team from Michelin Le Mans Cup. He will be the team leader for the ELMS Programme.

Cresp will be joined by Fabien Lavergne, ELMS 2019 Champion in LMGTE, who will also take on the role of Managing Director for the team.

Adrien Chila completes the squad, moving to MV2S after six seasons with Graff that yielded multiple Michelin Le Mans Cup podiums and a race win at the Road to Le Mans in 2019.

The team is considering adding a second LMP3 to their stable and is set too to announce additional programmes shortly.

Christophe Cresp: “I’m delighted to continue this great adventure in Endurance and to start in ELMS with this fantastic Ligier JS P320. I’m lucky to be able to share the wheel again with Fabien Lavergne and now Adrien Chila, two very experienced, efficient, and friendly drivers. We continue the development of our beautiful MV2S Racing team in the spirit of sportsmanship, good humour and the search for performance to take us as high as possible. I can’t wait to be there!”

Adrien Chila: “I’m very happy and proud to take up a new challenge in ELMS with MV2S. The team has proven in 2020 that it is capable of playing the leading roles. Our line-up with Christophe Cresp and Fabien Lavergne is solid. We have complete confidence to achieve a great season together and to achieve good results.»

Fabien Lavergne: “I’m delighted with this commitment to ELMS. It is the beginning of a great adventure in this fantastic championship which is in my opinion the most challenging in the world and which I had the chance to win two years ago. I’m very happy to be able to come back as a driver and to accompany Christophe and Adrien. I think the race format will suit Christophe much better, with a different tyre and fuel management from the Michelin Le Mans Cup. Adrien will be a real added value for the team which is both fast and reliable. We are in the process of setting up a solid technical team and I am sure we will be able to achieve great things.”
