The provisional entry for the 6 Hours of Monza on 18 July, round three of the 2021 FIA World Endurance Championship has been published with 38 cars listed for the WEC’s first racing visit to Italy.
The Hypercar class climbs to five entries with Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus entering both of their SCG 007 cars ahead of the Le Mans 24 Hours.
LMP2 has 12 cars listed with the #82 Risi Competizione Oreca added to the full season 11, Ryan Cullen, Oliver Jarvis and Felipe Nasr all set to undergo their Le Mans ‘warm-up’ as planned.
It’s the full-season four in GTE Pro, all four fielding just their full-season driver pairings in Italy.
GTE Am though sees a big boost, 17 cars listed with additional entries from Kessel Racing, the #57 Ferrari making a second WEC appearance (after Portimao) for Takeshi Kimura, Mikkel Jensen and David Fumanelli.
Also added is the #61 AF Corse Ferrari for Simon Mann and Christophe Ulrich, no third driver is listed against the car that sits currently as the first listed reserve for Le Mans with Sergei Sirotkin on the driver roster should the #61 get into the Great Race.
Inception Racing are another Le Mans entry trying out the WEC for the first time, their Kessel-supplied Ferrari for Brendan Iribe, Ollie Millroy and Ben Barnicoat is listed as #71.
And the #388 for Rinaldi Racing is listed for Pierre Ehret, Christian Hook and Jeroen Bleekemolen.
Andrew Haryanto is back aboard the #88 Dempsey Proton Porsche after racing at Spa but missing Portimao.
