6 Races For FIA WEC in 2022

Sebring and Fuji return to the calendar

The route back from a heavily COVID 19 impacted calendar for the FIA World Endurance Championship will be started next season as the Championship confirms a six-race calendar for 2022.

The Championship confirms a return to North America with the ‘Super Sebring’ double-header together with the IMSA Weathertech Sportscar championship returning after missing an initially scheduled date in 2020 and a travel restrictions-enforced absence in 2021. There will also be a two day Pre-season ‘Prologue’ test at Sebring prior to the race weekend.

The Spa 6 Hours and Le Mans 24 Hours return to their well established dates before a return to Monza where the WEC staged its first race this season.

The calendar lists a return to Fuji with the expectation of more normalised abilities to travel by autumn 2022 before the now traditional season finale in Bahrain for an 8 Hour race.
