Rebellion Racing already announced their intention to enter a single Lola-Toyota in the American Le Mans Series two weeks ago and today confirmed it will enter one car to fight for the 2013 American Le Mans Series title with Dyson Racing and Muscle Milk Pickett Racing.
This evening the team sent out a tweet saying “We can now confirm that the team will enter one car in the 2013 ALMS”. Rebellion Racing also confirmed it is still working hard on a parallel programme in the FIA World Endurance Championship and that it has signed 2012 European Le Mans Series champion Mathias Beche. Beche was Rebellion Racing’s reserve driver for the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2011 and will return to the team to race in 2013.
Rebellion Racing will announced its full driver line-up at a later date.
UPDATE: The latest update from Rebellion Racing is that the Swiss team will enter a second LMP1 car at Sebring.
