We’ve been without paid content for some time whilst some teething problems with our new payment system were ironed out – Firstly things should now be up and running smoothly and secondly we’d like to apologise for any hassle that this caused our loyal readership.
From later today we’ll be posting paid for content once again so you will need to log in to the site if you wish to view those articles marked with an ‘s’ icon.
We’re also very aware that our subscribers have, for some weeks, been paying for something that everyone else has been receiving free of charge – We’ll be addressing that in two ways:
Firstly we’ll be arranging for all subscribers to receive an extension to their subscription for the time period for which the paywall has been lowered;
Secondly we’re working on a number of additional bonus items to say thank you for your patience.
Finally, as a reminder, DSC has had the same £35 annual subscription since we started back in 2002 – In recognition of our increased level of free, sponsored, content we have reduced this by £3 to £32, that also now includes the 20% VAT that a DSC subscription attracts nowadays.
Remember also that DSC subscribers only are able to comment on our stories – so you’re literally part of the team!
