More later but for now just a brief note to confirm that the Thiriet by TDS Racing team are set to join the OAK Racing Team Asia squad in fielding the new Ligier JS P2 LMP2 Coupe at the 2014 Le Mans 24 Hours.
We believe that the team will start their 2014 ELMS campaign with an open topped Morgan Nissan car (above) but will publicly debut their Nissan engined Ligier at the Le Mans Test Day (the Team Asia Ligier will be powered by a Honda engine).
Onroak have meanwhile confirmed that the planned LMP1 car for OAK Racing will not now appear in 2014. “It is still a live programme for Jacques Nicolet but the car will not appear this year. Our resources are instead being directed to the design, build and development of the existing cars, and the new LMP2 coupe.
