Caterham Motorsport has withdrawn its entry for both the Le Mans 24 Hours and the European Le Mans Series after failing to secure an assured entry to the June classic.
The entry involved the third Greaves Motorsport owned Zytek Nissan but was only awarded third slot on the five car LMP reserve list.
Caterham branded a second Zytek Nissan at Le Mans last year with F1 test driver Alexander Rossi on the driving roster.
Whilst the Caterham entered car is withdrawn, Greaves Motorsport’s ELMS and Le Mans programme continues with Chris Dyson, who had been listed against the Caterham entry now slated to join team regular Tom Kimber Smith in the lead car.
