We’re about ready to go with the start of the European season and we’ll have a new face (sort of!) to anchor DSC’s coverage of what looks set to be a very high quality European Le Mans Series.
Sam Smith actually started to write for DSC’s predecessor site sportscarworld.com back in 1999 and has periodically contributed since then.
He has an unrivalled background in sportscar media, press officer to John Mangoletsi’s FIA Sportscar Championship, then over a decade at Lola Group as Communications Manager from 2002-12.
When that all came to an end Sam formed his own PR practice Sniffer Media and there has been no shortage of takers with his current client base including clients in F1 and Formula E which he combines with writing work as an official contributor to Autosport and Autosport.com
We’re delighted to have him on board for the season and he’ll kick off his duties with the ELMS Official Test next week.
